Hi, my name is Tim.
I believe that architecture has a unique complexity that allows the ability to make a difference in the world. Architecture and design impacts everyone in a meaningful way and my hope is to use this aspect of design to create a better world.
I am Co-Founder of Earth. Sea. Sky. Studio (E.S.S.), which is an independent studio consisting of students in different designing disciplines who are attempting to use design to positively affect our world.
I find Urban Design is fascinating because I believe it is the newest challenge for architects to work with. The urban fabric is so delicate, and yet so similar. I tend to contradict the usual mapping by introducing a new environment centered around a different interpretation of "organic".

Historic Preservation is important to me because I believe that the only way to learn what is successful and what is not is by "looking in the history books" so to speak. As a history minor, I learned that one of the most fascinating ways to learn history is through the architecture available on a culture or subject because the designs tell us a story about their ways of life and even the challenges people would've faced.
JACOBS
-
I interned at Jacobs Engineering Consultants and worked in their architecture department. I worked side-by-side with architects, adjusting and revising active plans, as well as working cross disciplinary with many specialized engineers and constructions teams.
THOMAS & MARKER CONSTRUCTION

I was selected to be part of a team of three to build a physical model of the Mary Ruten Hospital. We were a team of students recommend by the architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson to build this model.

This is a simple abstract structure that was a piece that I practiced rendering on.
This project acted as the funnel point for the Cleveland area bicycle traffic. A comprehensive elevated bike lane was designed to be installed, coming to a head at Ohio City, just on the outside of Cleveland's Downtown. This was to help with emissions from the cities traffic, and to promote a low cost management method of transportation in the Cleveland area.
This is an exterior rendering of a mini-project I completed while I was in undergrad.

EXPECTED ATTENDANCE TO GRAD SCHOOL
I have not yet attended any grad school, however I do intend on getting master's degree in architecture and sit for the licensing exams.
Hello, my name is Tim. I am an Architecture Design Student studying for my Bachelors of Science Degree at Kent State University, CAED. Architecture has not always been a fascination of mine, but it has captured me because of its unique ability to shift its focal position to the optical view of the perspective (that is to say it can be a background, a foreground, and anything in between to any different person on the planet). It is with this amazing character that I believe architecture as a subject and profession can create an extremely positive impact on our world. Architecture has a very important place in the our environment today, and I wish to learn and thrive in its vast branches of extremes and phenomenology.
